Flourish of Sympathy

I can not seem to get enough of this color combination. I simply adore pink and orange. This is Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach. I don't have the new layering oval framelits yet, so I used my retired extra large oval punch and the smallest oval framelit.

Never Ending Card

Have you ever heard of, or seen a Never Ending Card?   What looks like four cards below, is actually just one card. When you open the folds, another panel appears, then open again, and again and again. It just keeps unfolding, finally repeating the same view. There is a great tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers. You have to register to access the free site, but there is a wealth of information on that site!

I was totally prepared to mess up at least once while making it the first time. I didn't plan the design well because of that. The video tutorial was so well done, my first attempt came out perfectly.

Here is a link to the tutorial I used:

Lovin' the Pink and Orange

I got out a new stamp set this morning. I first intended to use watercolor paper and a spritzer to get a gentle washed out flower .... you know kind of etheral. Well, it didn't turn out that well. The colors were too bold and not that pretty faded watercolored look that I had in my head. So, I went with a plain stamped version. I haven't given up though. I'll try the watercolor look again.

Watercolor Wash Resist

I told you I was in my craft room most of the day! lol This is the last of today's creations. This one is using the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and the Flourish Thinlits dies.

To make this card, I stamped the flourish image in VersaMark, and embossed in white. Then I used an Aqua Painter to create a wash with inks over top. Then it was just a matter of stamping and fussy cutting the pink flower and leaves with a diecut for the gold flower. I really like the look a resist gives.
