Alpine Adventure Again
This time I use al one color cardstock to make the sleigh (early espresso). It's faster and easier and stil looks great. This was my first play with the corrugated embossing folder. To prevent the cardstock from cracking, I followed the manufacturers's instructions and sprayed the paper with alcohol right before running it through the Big Shot. I used the silver metallic ink that Stampin' Up! used to sell on the message, but you can easily emboss with silver powder.

Alpine Adventure
I just got this Alpine bundle and have been playing all morning:) I wanted the sleigh to be black and wood, so I cut the sleigh twice, once with wood patterned paper and once with black glossy paper from my stash. I cut the slats from the wood sleigh and glued on top of the black sleigh. I could just as easily used black cardstock.... I have no idea why I didn't lol!
I even had fun wth the inside! On that sleigh, I used Soft Suede ink on the entire image, then used a sponge dauber to apply black ink to the runners. The inside sentiment is from the Timeless Tidings stamp set, as is the tree on the envelope. The sleighs look nice in just one color too, I was just being extra creative this morning.

Favors or Treat Holders
The first thing I want to call to your attention is the Mini Treat Bag Thinlit die. This is so versatile, plus it's quick and easy to make something totally awesome.
Y'all, it's on the Clearance Rack!!!!! Originaly $40.00, it's now only $24.00!! Order quickly while supplies last!
The second treat holder is quick and easy to make. It's called a diaper fold and all you need is a 9 inch square sheet of designer series paper. There's a great tutorial for making one on Splitcoast Stampers:

Dashing Deer Plaid
I love the colors in this designer series paper! I'm a big fan of plaids too! This card just makes me happy! I now have 14 Christmas cards made. No two are the same, because I adore variety. I hope to keep that up until I've finished, but if things get realy busy around here, I may have to make more than one of a few. I'll send out 55-60 cards this year. That's part of my own personal card ministry. I send LOTS of cards through out the year. I send out birthday cards to our big family, Bible Study, Card Ministry and Card Fellowship members from church, and I'm the correspondance person for my UMW Circle at church so I send out thinking of you and sympathy if necessary to our members when necesary. You know, people just don't send out paper greetings much any more, which I find very sad. I like knowing that I put a smile on someone's face when they open a card that I made for them.
