New Catalog Time in 5 Days!

Wow! I really love how this first card turned out. The stamp set is elegantly said and I also use the coordinating punch and DSP. I included pictures of the inside and the envelope just to show you how many fun images there are in this set that you can use to decorate the envelope flap, the inside of your card, the front of the envelope etc. It's just so fun!

This card was done with the Beauty of Friendship stamp set along with the coordinating DSP.

More NEW Things Coming

I have some more pretty things to share with you today. The new catalog goes live on May 4!!

The first card is made with a stamp set called Elegantly Said, and it comes with coordinating DSP, Metallic twine and a punch. In this sample I used Soft Suede and Copper Emboss Powder for a fun metallic blend.

The card below was made with the Quiet Meadow stamp set, and coordinating Meadow dies. This type of silhouette die is so on trend now. I'm so glad we have it too! This card has two new In Colors, Pale Paypaya, and Evening Evergreen. In the background, I stamped the flower and splatters in Pale Papaya (stamped off).

This last card was done with the Quiet Meadow bundle too. The first layer is Blushing bride, then Basic White that has been colored with Blending Brushes and Pale Papaya and Polished Pink inks. The diecuts were made from Pale Papaya, Basic White, Champagne Foil, and Blushing Bride. On the Blushing Bride flower, I stamped the flower randomly to give the look of a print.

More Pansy Sneek Peaks!

With the new catalog coming out next month, I've been busy using new products to make samples and  things for my customers. I learned of this fold from Fellow Demo Mary Deatheridge. It's called a Tower Fold.

Card front and envelope. I cut the envelope pansy from the DSP with a die:)

A Calendar Mini Album

I'm sooooo very, enormously excited about our new perpetual calendar stamp set!! We can make calendars for years and years with this stamp and it couldn't be easier. I know because in the past I've bought a few different calendar stamps and this one is the BEST:)  Updated to add other months 4/25/21

Some types of calendar stamps are made in columns which are impossible to get all straight and looking nice, even with the Stamparatus. This style is easy to use as it's all in one piece. You simply select the 7 columns that are in the month you want to make and ink only the numbers needed for that month.

Other stamps made in this format require you to use sticky notes after inking to cover the portions not needed, or trying to wipe off the ink in the columns not needed..... But Stampin' Up! did the most clever thing. They made this stamp in the perfect dimenstions. No matter what 7 columns you need, it is the exact width of our ink pads!!!! So you only have to ink exactly what you need!!!!!!

So how about the mini album part? An easel type stand with rings is used to hang the calendar pages on. Then, you (or the recipient if you're giving it as a gift) simply take a picture each month, adhere it to the back of the calendar page, add a bit of journaling and voila, a thoughtful calendar mini album.  Journaling could consist of inspirational quotes or scripture. This could be made to celebrate Baby's First Year, First Year of Marriage, First Year of College, Recipes for Each Month, Wedding Planning, Home Renovation or New Construction. Measurements and notes for this project

I plan to have a class on making one of these soon, so if you are local you will want to have fun with friends while creating this great project.

This is the front of the book, I used some of the DSP that will be in the new catalog, isn't it gorgeous?

New Catalog Sneak Peeks!!

My pre-order for the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog came on Monday and I have been organizing, labeling and creating like crazy. What I want to show you today are the indexes that I've made so far. There are two for the Pansy Petals Suite because after I did mine, a Demo from Australia shared hers, which has a different approach and I like it better. I'm showing both so that you can see exactly how wonderful these stamps and dies create GORGEOUS flowers!!

Wow is this the coolest, most versatile bundle ever!! Common sentiments needed for card making all on ONE STAMP! And to cut them out... ONE DIE!! Genius I tell you:)

One Stamp with 23 sentiments!

Diecut with one die

I put all my sentiments in a fishing tackle box

Of course I had to decorate  the box and include the stamp set index on it
