I made these for the ladies who came to my New Catalog Launch in June. I made a tutorial and then forgot to post it! Silly me! Here is the Tutorial. If you'd like to make a smaller size, there are a couple of posts from several years ago that include directions here: https://scmagnolia.blogspot.com/search?q=gift+bag

Stampin' Around!
No particular theme, just random stamping this week:)
I made the Double Slider Card with the Tech Support stamp set for my son. There's a great stamp for birthday, but I was excited and couldn't wait until his birthday to mail it to him!! I have two sets of alphabet stamps and both were too big to fit in the keyboard spaces. I think the current set in the annual catalog would fit. The idea for this computer use came from fellow Demo, Robin Broome, who got the directions for the Double Slider Card from another fellow Demo Dawn Griffin. You can see Dawn's video tutorial here. You actually use a strip of plastic grocery bag to make the slider card.
Then I made the camper card because I got the Tree Lot Dies from SALE-A-BRATION. This set is such fun to play with. You can even use the diecuts to make a 3D camper and put a little treat, or some lights inside. I'll be sharing those with you soon.
Last up is a W Fold Card. The directions for that fun fold can be found on Splitcoast Stampers. To access their wonderful library of tutorials, you simply sign up for FREE with a login name and password.

SALE-A-BRATION
Here are some stunning cards using the
Wonderful World Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper. If you like what
you see, join Sale-A-Bration now until the end of August for access
to these unique products!
CASUAL
For the Fijne dag card,
the Layering Circles Dies were used to cut out a bundle of lovely
white lilies from the Designer Series Paper. Then some floral images
were stamped on the yellow Designer Series Paper panel and a piece of
white Baker’s Twine was tied around it. Then the die-cut piece was
positioned as the focal point of the card, taking care that it
wouldn’t cover the stamped images.
AVID
For the Bonne
fĂȘte card, the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks and a Blending Brush
was used to add a fun design to the panel. Then varying degrees of
pressure with the Blending Brush was applied, depending on how light
or dark the desired color was to be. The lilies from the Designer
Series Paper were fussy cut and a few Festive Pearls were added to
finish the card.
ARTFULLY AVID
For the Zum Geburtstag card,
the Designer Series Paper was die cut with the Stitched Rectangles
Dies to create some fun background pieces. Then Paper Snips and a
Bone Folder were used to distress the edges of the paper, and the
main florals and a few leaves from the Designer Series Paper were
fussy cut. Wink of Stella was aded to the flower petals for a final
bit of shine.

Back to the Basics
EVEN IF YOU'VE BEEN STAMPING A WHILE. If you get those pesky halos around your stamped image, you need this refresher. Demonstrators find that a lot of stampers like to use more ink than they actually need!
So Let's get Back to the Basics:
For the best results, turn your stamp over and hold the inkpad in your hand. This gives you more control over the amount of ink and where you lay it. Tap, tap, tap, lightly on the stamp with the inkpad a few times while moving around to cover the rubber completely. When printing your stamp, you'll find that steady, even pressure will give you the cleanest imprint.
Tapping lightly on the stamp is key to avoid over-inking your stamp.
If you take care not to put ink where you don't want it, will make your life much easier. Rocking your stamp will give you edge prints, smudge or echo your print. To much pressure causes some of the same problems.
For a much more crisp, clear image, use Stampin' Pierce Mat when stamping with Photopolymer stamps.

Watercolor Techniques
Techniques shown in the video:
No Line Watercoloring: stamp in a very light color of ink, use ink from the lids of inkpads and water painters to color your image.
Watercolor Pencils: stamp an image in Stazon on Shimmery White paper, use Water Painters to 'paint' with.
Watercolor Wash: spritz watercolor paper with water, then use Water Painters to apply a bit of color from the lids of ink pads to apply color to paper.
Stamp in Color on watercolor paper and fill in with Water Painter.
Emboss Resist: stamp image in VersaMark ink on watercolor paper, then heat emboss with white powder. Put a few drops of desired colors of ink refills onto a block, then 'paint' using Water Painters.
Chalk Pastels as Watercolor: Stamp image with Stazon Ink, on Shimmery White paper. Apply a bit of color from chalks to a scrap paper, then use Water Painters to 'paint' with.
Watercolor on Embossing Folder: use your favorite embossing folder on Shimmery White paper, then use Water Painters and some ink from the lids of ink pads.
Additional Techniques To Try:
Use watercolor pencils to add shading to your solid stamped images. You can use blending stumps to soften the look or leave as is.
Mist watercolor paper with water and then stamp. The water causes the color to move, creating a not-so-perfect look.
Mist watercolor paper with water then using the Stamparatus, ink the stamp and stamp on the wet watercolor paper. This results in a fun effect where the color moves. Then heat emboss the same image on top to give it definition. You can use any color of emboss powder, black, white, gold etc.
You can also ink up your stamp with markers or ink and stamp it… and THEN mist it. This also causes a more of a bleeding effect. If you want it to be “cleaner,” use less water. If you'd like a messier more ethereal look use more water!
Use the Stamparatus, ink up your stamp with markers or ink, and stamp it… and mist it. Once it dries, heat emboss the image with any color Embossing Powder.
Use the Stamparatus, ink the stamp and mist the stamp before stamping. Once it dries, heat emboss the image with any color Embossing Powder.
Ink the stamp, then mist the paper before and after stamping. This causes the ink to move even more, then heat emboss with any color powder.
Use Stampin’ Write markers to color on the stamp. You can use several markers and then use an Aqua Painter to achieve the “watercolor” look.
Using water? You want to use the Jet Black StazOn pad. If you will be watercoloring with a watercolor brush, AquaPainter or blender pen then you are using water. The Memento pad is water-based. That means that if you wipe water across it, it will smear. The StazOn pad is alcohol-based. That means it won’t smear when you watercolor.
Using Stampin’ Blends or another type of alcohol-based marker? You want to use the Memento Pad. If you use alcohol-based markers on an image stamped with an alcohol-based ink pad like StazOn, your image will smear. Stamp with Memento ink, color with Stampin' Blends markers.
