Stamp Your Art Out!

My monthly group met today and we had a blast with a new technique and chatting of course:) We used modeling paste, but it didn't come from a store. I found a recipe online and made it myself. It saved a few bucks, which leaves more money to buy stamps with right???

  4. Tape mask in place with painters’ tape
  5. Squeeze a small amount of modeling paste onto the mask.

Modeling Paste Recipe

½ cup Baking Soda

2 Tablespoons Elmer’s glue

1-2 Tablespoons White Acrylic Paint

In an air tight container, put baking soda, glue, and acrylic paint.  Stir to get a smooth consistency (some water may be necessary - the amount of water you add will depend on the heaviness of the texture you are looking for). The mixture keeps well in the air tight container for a few weeks. If some of the moisture is floating on top, just give it a stir and it will be good to go!
