Card Ministry

Card Ministry at St. John's met yesterday and we had such fun together as usual. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful group of ladies! I shared a sweet story with them from the wife of a retired Coast Guard officer. He received a birthday card fromt the church staff that was done with the Sailing Home stamp set. It was so appropriate and signed by the ministers and staff. He still has it proudly displayed on their mantle. I love hearing that our craft generates smiles!

1. Night of Navy card base 8-1/ x 5-1/2 score at 4-1/4
2. Whisper White – 2-1/8 x 5-1/2 behind DSP
3. DSP – 2 x 5-1/2 adhere to white layer then tie sailor's knot with Braided Linen Trim. Adhere to card base.
4. Cherry Cobbler – rectangle die #3, stamp birds in Navy near the top
5. Whisper White - stamp light house in Navy then die cut
6. Silver Foil – die cut compass arrow
7. Whisper White 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 stamp compass in Navy. Then circle punch, & insert brand with arrow
8. Whisper White – inside

1. Basic Black card base 8-1/ x 5-1/2 score at 4-1/4
2. Crumb Cake – 4 x 5-1/4
3. Soft Suede – 3-1/2 x 3-1/2
4. Early Espresso – 4-1/4 x 2-1/2
5. Basic Black mat behind stamped leaves 2-3/4 x 2-3/4
6. Very Vanila – stamp lg.leaves in Crumb Cake and sm. Leaves in Soft Suede
7. Use scrap of Very Vanilla to stamp Thank You in Black and cut out with scissors
8. Stamp cluster of leaves in Crumb Cake on 2-1/3 x 2-1/2 Very Vanila then die cut
9. Very Vanilla inside – 4 x 5-1/4 stamp leaves in bottom corner
10. Use Gold ink to stamp Card Ministry on back of card

1. Smoky Slate card base: cut 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 score at 4-1/4
2. Daffodil Delight - 4 x 5-1/4
3. Whisper White - 3-3/4 x 5 stamp leaves, 1^st and 2^nd generation, in Pear Pizzazz
4. Whisper White – 2-3/4 x 8-1/2 stamp 3 flowers on each strip, glue two together for each flower.
5. Daffodil Delight – stamp center and circle punch, after adhering to flower, attach to card front with dimensional.
6. Stamp greeting on scraps of Daffodil Delight in Smoky Slate ink, embelish with tiny rhinestone
