Framed Scenes
This is such a fun bundle to create with! The Framed Scenes Bundle is an Online Exclusive (I've listed all the products used below). This fold is really easy and yet it looks pretty cool! The Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP) really add to the feel of an old lighthouse. We have an old lighthouse in Beaufort, SC. It's not red, but it's fun to climb up to the top and look at the ocean and barrier islands. My inspiration for these cards came from Julie Gilson and Dani Gurrola, two very talented ladies!
The second card features the same fold, only rotated to a portrait position. I used the most gorgeous plaid of Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow. I ADORE blue and green combos!! Funny story about the framed sentiments... I matted the Happy Birthday greeting because it needed something since it was on the back of that panel, a little umph. Then with the sentiment, I must admit, I wasn't clever enough to do that on my own in order to create a cohesive look. Nope, I just made a stamping goof! lol Since it eas already adhered to the card base, I couldn't flip it over and do the other side. Yeah, do as I say, not as I do. Don't ever adhere your layer then stamp. {slaps self upside the head}

Corner Bookmark Card
This bookmark has been around awhile. I mean seriously, you had me at origami! While teaching Gifted and Talented, I had some Japanese students several years ago. They taught me so many orgami folds and it was so much fun! I thought I was doing very well, until Jimmy He, age 10 brought me the tinest pair of cranes. They matched perfectly and I knew I had met my master. I made the cranes into earrings and got so much pleasure from wearing them. In fact, Jimmy was from China, not Japan and he taught me how to play majong. I'd been wanting to learn how to play for years, ever since I took a history class on the Roaring Twenties in college. It was a craze back then, and I wanted to learn so badly, but could never find anyone who knew how.

Mystery Stamping #3
![]() |
Clue #1 Locate the following:
- Patterned Paper (the main print)
- Patterned Paper (subdued print)
- two colors of cardstock (color A and color B)
- Basic White cardstock
- Paper Trimmer
- Adhesive of choice
- Greeting and sentiment stamps
Clue #2 cut cardstock color A 8-1/2 x -5-1/2 score @ 4-1/4. This card base opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.
Clue #3 cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock for the inside
Clue #4 The large background layer is patterned paper 4" x 5-1/4" (subtle pattern). Then adhere it to the card base.
Clue #5 Cut Basic White cardstock 4-1/4" x 2-1/4" mat it to 4-1/2" x 2-1/2" cardstock color A.
Clue #6 Patterned Paper 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" (the main print) mat it to 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" cardstock color A.
Clue #7 Basic White 1" x 1." Rotate so that it is in a diamond position and stamp greeting on it. Then mat to 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" cardstock color A.
Clue #8 Cut cardstock color B 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and mat it to cardstock color A 2-3/4" x 2-3/4"
Clue #9 Tape the matted Basic White layer first; about 1/2" from each edge and the bottom and a smidge closer to the left edge of the patterned paper.
Clue #10 Adhere the color B matted layer. Rotate the square so that it is a diamond shape. The top and bottom points are just a hair below the edge of the patterned paper layer, with the left point touching the edge of the patterned paper.
Clue #11 Adhere the matted patterned paper next. Align the left edge so that it is touching the far edge of the diamond on left side of the top and bottom points. You should see about 1/4” of the white layer below and about 1/2” of white to the right.
Clue #12 Orient the 1” square of white cardstock and mat to 1-1/4” square color A. Adhere with dimensionals so that the left tip of the diamond is inside the larger diamond shape, leaving an equal amount of the larger diamond as a border on the left side.

Detachable Bookmark Card
Bookmark Cards are making a comeback, and I can certainly see why. What an adorable surcee to give a sweet friend! What is a Surcee you ask?
Surcee sometimes spelled "Cerci," or “surcy” Most who use the word Surcee are from North Georgia or the Carolinas, but the term also found its way into Alabama and even Tennessee and Indiana. I learned the word probably originated from the Scots verb “sussie,” meaning “to take trouble, to care, to bother oneself.” This probably came to Scotland from the French “souci,” meaning “care, trouble.”
Here in the south it means a thoughtful, unexpected, unnecessary, & inexpensive gift. My Mom and Grandma always brought back Surcees to my brother and I whenever they went on a trip. We always looked forward to whatever treasures they'd bring back to us. I still have some of them: seashells from the Florida keys, Canadian coins from Quebec, or flower pod Grandma brought back from the Holy Land.

June Stamping Class Part Two
So many beautiful new goodies to play with this month, it takes two blog posts just to tell you about them! The first one was created with the Notes & Totes bundle and Florals in Bloom DSP. I used Garden Green, Bubble Gum, and Pretty in Pink on the accents. The second card was made with the Inspiring Imperfections bundle and the Kintsugi Inspirations DSP, oh! and those cute little embellishments are called Flower Accents. Basic White and Misty Moonlight provide the perfect color combo for this card.
As I mentioned in my previous post, due to the popularity of our June SALE, some of these items have temporarily sold out. However Ships will be arriving at our ports in Los Angeles in just a few weeks with more product.
June Stamping Class Part One
This fun fold is so easy to make! I used it in my local Stamping class this week. I've seen it around the internet called various things, but I call it the Mini Flap Fold. Such a unique name right? lol! These samples use products from two different suites. The first one is from Kintsugi Inspirations beginning on page 58, and the next two are from Beautiful Gallery beginning on page 52. With the sale going on this month, some of these items just sold out, but have no fear, the ships will arrive with more stock in July:)
To make this fold, you need:
- 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (card base)
- 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" score @ 3-1/4" (small card on front of card base)
- 5-3/4" x 3-1/4" (2 die cuts, second largest square from Stylish Shapes Die) You can use any other shape in place of dies, if desired
- DSP pattern A 4" x 5-1/4" (front of card base)
- DSP pattern B 2" x 4 " (front flap of small card)
- DSP pattern B 3" x 4" (inside small card)
