It's with much prayer, thought and soul searching that I've decided to step away from being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I've enjoyed every step of the way, the stamping, the friends and fun, but I feel compelled to move on to other things. I'm moving into Mixed Media and absolutely in love with the process! I'm so happy working in my studio that I'm giddy. Thank you to all my customers, my friends,
How could a stamp set called "Nature's Symphony" be anything other than gorgeous? The stamps and dies are amazing but when paired with the Designer Paper... it is beyond cool!
Christmas is over and I'm back up and running:) We had a house full of family over the holidays, I traveled to see other family members and it was all so wonderful!!
This week I've been working on my current obsession... Gel Printing. I just bought my first gel plate and finally pried myself away from it, because I wanted to play with some new Stamping products too!
Below are three projects using the the new bundles from the Lovely and Beautiful Suite. fLet me tell you, I am a total sucker for florals and this suite certainly does not dissapoint!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! We had a houseful of family and it was fantabuloso!!
This is a retired bundle that I got off the Clearance Rack a couple weeks ago. I made this card for my Great Niece who is 4 and loves dinosaurs:) I visited family a couple weeks before Christmas and we had fun at the Childrens' Museum in Indianapolis. The Dinosaur exhibit was a big hit:)
I used Shaded Spruce for the card base of this fun fold and Full of Life Designer Series paper (also retired). I stamped everything in black and colored the images with Stampin' Blends markers. The circles were cut from Spotlight on Nature Dies.
This catalog will be available to customers on January 6.
I made these cards over a week ago, but traveled to see family before I could get them posted. I'm not usually drawn to cute style stamps, but I fell in love with this set and all its coordinating products. Maybe because I have the most adorable 4 year old Great Niece on the planet lol! I had the most fun visiting with family and playing with her!!!!
Made with the Sweet Bugs bundle and the coordinating Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes. I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol ink markers, then diecut and popped a few pieces with dimensionals. Zoom in on the ladybug.... isn't that the cutest thing? And... it's kind of puffy but not too prominent to require additional postage.
Made with the Nature's Symphony stamp set and the coordinating Nature's Walk DSP. I used the Stylish Shapes dies and Metallic Textures Rub ons. I pretty much cased this from the catalog.

To shine the spotlight on our December
Product of the Month—True Blue Florals 12" x 12" Designer
Series Paper, here's a cute project! This versatile paper is perfect
for cards, tags, decor, and more! Grab yours and get crafty!
To create a gift bag:
Score two pieces of 12" x 12"
Designer Series Paper with the same pattern at 3" and 11-1/2",
then rotate a quarter turn and score at 3".
Fold on all the score lines and cut
along one score line of the 3" x 3" square in the corner of
the paper to create a tab. Repeat for the 1/2" x 3" corner
tab.
Assemble the bag by adhering the 3"
side of one page to the 1/2" side of the other page. Then tuck
in the tabs and adhere the bottom flaps together.
To create handles, score two 2-1/2"
x 12" strips of Designer Series Paper along the short edge at
3/4" and 1-3/4". Fold at the score lines and adhere
together.
Adhere the handles to the inside of the
bag and reinforce them by adhering a piece of 7-1/2" x 2"
cardstock over the ends of each handle inside the bag.

I sure do love the colors in this Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper! I like traditional Christmas colors with a bit of the unexpected, and that's just what this paper delivers. The Secret Sea with Real Red just makes my heart sing:)
This is a fun technique that allows you to make four cards at once. I call it the "Four in One Technique." Yeah, very clever name right? lol To make it, start off with a 10″ x 7-1/2″ sheet of cardstock that you score down the middle horizontally and vertically. Then you stamp around the edges In a controlled/random pattern. Think collage-ish style as you select stamps. Fellow demo, Mary Mary Nabe used the textured notes stamp set when she did this technique. Those turned out beautifully, but I needed Christmas cards so looked through my stash both current and retired and selected four stamps from different sets. I used the ink colors found in the Designer Paper. After you've stamped around the edges of each quadrant, you trim right on the score lines which gives you four card layers. You adhere these layers to card bases then add a greeting. And voila, you have a pretty card. To jazz mine up a bit, I REALLY decorated the inside, and the envelope flap as well.
I learned how to make this tent card from Fellow Demo, Robyn Pike and just had to case it! What a pretty fun fold which is also easy to make. The panel with the DSP is simply affixed to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals. I just made sure to line it up with the card base so that the height was the standard 5-1/2".
