Calendars With a New Stamp Set

 I made these two calendars using the Art Gallery bundle from the upcoming January to June Mini Catalog. On the first one I used the coordinating DSP and some gold leafing flakes also found in the catalog. 

Coming Soon Wrapped Bouquet

 I really like this bundle! To make this 3D newspaper holder, you stamp a newsprint stamp on both sides of the cardstock. Then use a die which cuts and embosses the fold lines. It's genious and so cute. The set comes with the one stamped bouquet and newspaper holder you see in the first card, and a stamped bouquet to use with the die. There are also some text stamps and greenery dies. 

I pretty much copied the sample in the catalog. I used some pretty navy tweed pattern from the In Good Taste DSP. The card base is Night of Navy, leaves are Old Olive. Flowers colored with Stampin Blends. The two pink strips are Petal Pink and Rococo Rose. I inked up the floral stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black, then sponged Mossy Meadow ink on the leaves with a sponge dauber.

Sad News Regarding the Magnetic Cutting Plate

 I had this ready to post in November, and never published it! (slaps self upside the head)

MAGNETIC CUTTING PLATE UPDATE

November 4, 2020.

Due to quality concerns, and to ensure our customers have the best possible product, we have decided to shut off the Magnetic Cutting Plate (item 149656), effective immediately. As a workaround, we suggest that you use washi tape or sticky notes with standard plates to keep your dies aligned during use. 

We are working hard to resolve the issues with this product. However, we are unable to estimate when or what that will be at this time. As always, we will keep you posted with any updates. 

All demonstrators and customers who have previously ordered the Magnetic Cutting Plate will automatically receive coupon codes in an email as compensation.

Change of White Paper

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

 Even though this decision was out of our hands, we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust.

With Whisper White going out of production, this means a number of Whisper White products will be affected. Below is a list of all products that will be replaced with our new Basic White cardstock. These items are now available while supplies last with an order limit of 2 per item per order.
