Peony and Leaves

The Prized Peony stamp set is carrying over to the new catalog YAY! However we will be bidding a fond farewell to the Rooted in Nature set on May 3.

1. Basic White card base: cut 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 score at 4-1/4

2. Basic Black: 4-1/8 x 5-3/8 panel directly on top of card base 4 x 2-3/4 stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed with white powder. Place over Rose panel

3. Basic White: 4 x 5-1/4 embossed with Tin Type EF, layer on top of Basic Black

4. Rococo Rose: 4 x 2-3/4 panel under black greeting, peony diecuts

5. Old Olive: diecuts for detailed leaf parts

6. Mossy Meadow: diecuts for three background leaf parts

2. Gray Granite: 4 x 5-1/4 layer over card base

3. Soft Suede: 4-1/4 x 2-3/4

4. Crumb Cake: ½ x 3-1/5 adhere to top and bottom of Soft Suede layer, leaving opposite ends bare as shown in photo

5. Early Espresso: 2-3/4 x 2-3/4

6. Very Vanilla: 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 stamped with leaves, adhere to Espresso layer #5

7. Very Vanilla: diecut leaf and text to fussy cut

8. Very Vanilla: inside 4 x 5-1/4 stamp sentiment

Double Z Fold With Hey Girlfriend

 For this card I used the Hey Girlfriend stamp set that will be retiring in June and the Flower & Field DSP that I earned FREE during Sale-A-Bration.

All measurements in inches

1. For the card base, cut cardstock 8-1/2 x 5-1/2, score at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4

2. For the pop out mechanism, cut cardstock 8-1/2 x 3-1/2, score at 2-1/8 and 4-1/4

The following pieces will be glued to the pop out mechanism

3. Whisper White cardstock for front 4 x 3-1/4

4. Whisper White cardstock for inside right 1-7/8 x 3-1/4

5. Designer Paper (select coordinating patterns)

• center inside pop out piece 1-7/8 x 3-1/4

• inside the card base 4 x 5-1/4

• on the card base 1-7/8 x 5-1/4 (2 pcs)

6. To assemble the card, first attach all the Designer Papers plus the stamped section and the white inside panel.

7. To attach the two sections together easily with perfect alignment, fold and crease all score lines with a bone folder. The card base folds are mountain then valley. The pop out mechanism folds are the same, mountain then valley. I have penciled in letters as a guide, glue A to A, B to B etc.

8. First place the pop out mechanism on top of the folded card base and glue only the left side, be careful not to extend the glue past the first score line.

9. Next glue the smaller section on the right to the card base.
