Coloring Beautiful Day Flowers

General Rule of Thumb
With Blends, you generally color light to dark for blending. If you want more of a contrast, then begin with dark.
  1. Rococo Rose Layer: color whole petal with Lt. Highland Heather, then flick Lt. Rich Razzleberry from the bottom of the petal outward. Next blend with Dk. Highland Heather and finally Lt. Highland Heather at the top, or end of the petal. Center of the flower in Dk. Daffodil Delight. For the leaf, begin with Dk. Old Olive on the veins and at the base. Then color the rest with Lt. Old Olive.
  2. Old Olive Layer: color whole petal with Lt. Daffodil Delight, then flick Dk. Calypso Coral, from the bottom of the petal outward. Next blend with Lt. Calypso Coral, then Dk. Daffodil Delight and finally Lt. Daffodil Delight at the top, or end of the petal. Center of the flower in Lt Daffodil Delight. For the leaf, begin with Dk. Granny Apple Green on the veins and at the base. Then color the rest with Lt. Granny Apple Green.
  3. Flirty Flamingo Layer: color whole petal with Lt. Daffodil Delight, then flick Dk. Flirty Flamingo from the bottom of the petal outward. Next blend with Lt. Flirty Flamingo and finally Lt. Daffodil Delight at the top, or end of the petal. Center of the flower in Lt Daffodil Delight. For the leaf, begin with Dk. Old Olive on the veins and at the base. Then color the rest with Lt. Old Olive.
