Butterfly Wishes and Dragonfly Dreams...
For the dragonfly card, I tried water first, stampin first, watercolor paper and whisper white. I liked the watercolor paper, spritzed liberally with water, then stamped the dot cluster stamp. I love love the way the ink ran and pooled. It ended up with the mystical watercolor look that I wanted.

Shabby Chic Dragonfly
I got design idea for this card from fellow Demo, Wendy Klein. I never would have thought to use Designer Series Paper for the detailed dragonfly thinlit. It's gorgeous in person, and I can't get a photograph to do it justice.

- Stamp the images from Timeless Textures stamp set in Smoky Slate ink. Stamp the splatters in Versamark and then use Copper embossing powder.
- Sponge Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate inks over the images.
- Cut the solid dragonfly thinlit (backing) in Copper Foil
- Cut the detailed overlay from Falling In Love DSP. Then brush with Clear Wink of Stella to add a sheen of glimmer.

Scripture on Cards
I've been working on a couple of ideas for the Card Ministry at our church and so far this is what I've come up with. These would work to send to our shut ins, and for the female minister to send to others, but the real stumper is what to use in making something for the male minister. You know something that is not girly. It needs to be clean and simple, classy and elegant, with not too much detail. I plan to talk to our minister to see what special scriptures he would us to put on a cards for his use.
I generated the quote and scripture passages on the computer and placed a sheet of Whisper White into the printer.
