Fisherman

I made this card for my son, who is an avid fisherman. I began coloring water with a Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Marker, but wanted more definition, so I used the splotches and dots stamps from the Waterfront stamp set. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Best Catch Framed

I made this for my son, who is an avid fisherman. I should have photographed it before framing it. He has a man cave in the basement of his house where all his sports equipment is displayed, so I expect he may like to put this there. The computer generated verse reads, "If fishing is a religion, then fly fishing is high church!"  I emailed him several fishing verses, and asked which he liked best. He selected this one, so I'll pop it into the mail this week.

Fishy Birthday

Okay, so yesterday I posted a card that was going to be my husband's birthday, but.... I like this one better!

For the background, I used glossy white cardstock. To add color, I swooshed my stamp pads randomly around the silicone craft sheet. Next, I spritzed with water, then placed the glossy paper on top, pressed a bit, the lifted it off. Instant WOW! I used Balmy Blue, Old Olive, and Pear Pizzazz.

The cattails and circle were wadded up, unrolled, wadded up again until a nice wrinkled effect was achieved.

The fish and fisherman were colored with alcohol ink markers.
