Mini Photo Album

I just finished this cute little book today. It would perfect to give as a gift, it's adorable and holds two photos which is very easy to manage don't you think?
I used Natural Composition Specialty paper for the base construction, because it is card stock weight. The designer series paper is Venetian Romance. I used the coordinating card stock colors: crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding, baked brown sugar and island indigo. Lovely as a Tree and Word Play stamp sets along with the build a bird punch complete the list of products used. Oh yes, I did used sponges:-)

Scrapbooking and My Digital Studio

I've been scrapbooking this past week. I've used three formats, the 3 Ring album, This & That Journal (smashbook) and My Digital Studio. I'm having fun experimenting with digital layouts and printing on Whisper White. After these two books are done, I'm going to make an 8 x 8 board book and have it printed and bound for around 30 dollars. I'm going to make it a combination recipe/photo album for my grown son.

The first two images below are screenshots from My Digital Studio. I printed them on Whisper White and was surprised at how clear the pictures were. I've also printed some on glossy photo paper as well.  I'm so pleased at how much stuff there is on the full digital software! There are tons of additional layouts, stamps and background papers your can download for FREE and you purchase others add to it as well. Of course I bought a couple! There's a set of images and papers that are travel themed with stamps of each state in the country. I just HAD to have it right? lol I also bought the digital stamp of Post Card. I printed some on Whisper White and will use it as a journaling flap in one of our travel scrapbooks.
This is the Seasonal Stripes 8 x 8 Designer Ring Album. It's in the Holiday catalog. I wanted to try the divided page protectors and this size album, but I didn't want to use it for Christmas. So I deChristmafied it! I used Washi Tape in the white stripes and added the central image on the cover.
Below are some of the divided page protectors inside this album. The photos were printed at Walgreens on regular photo paper, and the journaling tags were made in My Digital Studio and printed on Whisper White.
