Card Ministry

The members of the Card Ministry at St. John's Methodist made a wonderful batch of cards for the church staff yesterday! The seniors in our congegation will love these beautiful birthday cards. They were made using Encircled in Nature, Crafting With You and Grassy Grove bundles.

December Card Ministry

The first card was very popular. We used the Crafting With You Bundle. The easel was stamped in Pebbled Path ink then that piece of Basic White was die cut with a Deckled Rectangles Die. This was mounted on another White layer. The card base was Mint Macaron which is retired, but so pretty with this. The picture/painting? It is a photograph of a famous street here in our hometown. The avenue of Live Oaks is so very beautiful and typically southern. I simply opened the photo in a Word Document and resized it so that it would fit on this easel stamp. I then copied 9 more of them to fill the page and printed it in color. The brushes needed a cup so I used a retired punch, Washi Label, and punched some DSP, cut it in half because it was too tall.

Trucking Along bundle, Balmy Blue and Basic White, the tag was made with a retired punch, called Tag Topper.

Lets Go Shopping bundle and DSP. The storefront was stamped in Rich Razzleberry onto Bubble Gum cardstock. The card base is also Rich Razzleberry, a retired but beautiful color!

Feverishly Creating

I took a break from the book I am writing and binding for my Great Niece, to do some stamping. After all, I must play with new things and I need some thank you cards.

The first two cards were made with the Crafting With You bundle and Masterfully Made DSP. I used the colors listed on the package and in the catalog for the DSP. There are tons of colors in that paper!! What a fun set! The dies and stamps allow you to create art on an easel, a paper trimmer, scissors, ruler, cut and emboss machine, spools of thread, yarn and an embroidery hoop.

With these two cards, I used the same basic layout, but with different colors. I popped the paper trimmer with Dimensionals and glued the rest.

This card is the same layout as one done in a previous post, but with different DSP. This time I used Masterfully Made DSP and the same Inked and Tiled stamp set.
