It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Here's something a bit different. I love the look that this leaf print and paint spatter stamps give this wreath:) We made this card at my Upline's stamp club yesterday and it was such fun. You rock Pam!!

Yesterday was a terrific day!! Stamp Club was a lot of fun, shopping and lunch with girlfriends is the best, then I even got to go out to dinner with my husband. We had such fun at an Italian Restaurant. Today, I walked off that dinner after brushing my Aussies and throwing the ball till my arm got tired. I swear that dog would fetch balls till she dropped from exhaustion if I let her. I just love my dogs, they have so much personality and they're sooooo super smart!  They're one can do long division and read at a 4th grade level.  heee hee giggles.  They do have an extensive vocabulary though ... honest :) Cricket knows the word 'rest' that means she stops fetching the ball until I ask if she wants to 'play' again. She will even "go find Sydney or Daddy" when I tell her to. You know I bet I could teach them to put a rubber stamp between their teeth!

I'm in Love With our UPS Man

So Yesterday, while waiting for the Big Brown Truck to deliver my order, I put together some of the images I'd stamped with the Tea Shoppe set. I really like the first one:) I luv it when the colors match or coordinate so well, which is one of the things I love about Stampin' Up!

The second one shows how important it is to have your colors match, cause they don't and I'm not happy with it. Actually, it is now in the trash can. Which is why a bunch of cardstock and matching ink pads came in my order yesterday:)   My friend and fellow demo, AnnMarie and I are putting together a Color Challenge Blog using Stampin' Up! color combinations found in the Color Coach. I'm so excited because I LOVE color and what a fun way to play with it!

When the UPS truck drove up, I rushed out to get my package, told the driver that I love him cause he brings me toys and rushed back in to rip it open!! My husband and I have this understanding... he knows my love for our UPS driver is based on the fact that he brings me things, and he's okay with that. Of course he wishes that somehow the UPS driver could PAY for the things too lol!!

I'm happy to report that my ink pads are gorgeous colors and full of nice juicy ink. My new bold design stamps stamped so well I squealed:) Naturally being the color addict and slightly OCD girl that I am, I had to label the hanging folders for all the new colors of cardstock first thing before I could play.  I'll post things I'm making with my new things tomorrow.

Now look at all the pretty colors I have:)

Pop-up Presents

You know, I really need to stop pinning any more things on Pinterest for a while. I have enough ideas pinned to keep me busy for months! It really is addictive isn't it?  I found this pop up present idea on Pinterest, but there were no measurements or directions, so I had to work it out for myself. As I worked, I scanned my progress so that I could share it with you. I finished the card, and the templates and attempted to find the card that inspired me. I wanted to give the gal credit. I couldn't find it, but I did find a video with measurements and everything! Why couldn't I have found the video BEFORE I worked it all out?  lol  I'm going to include my templates with written measurements and give you the link to the video as well. Sometimes it's nice to have two ways of looking at something don't you think? Here is the video
This is the first one I did. I just eyeballed it, the presents are too far apart and I wasn't crazy about the background stamping. So Back to the drawing board.
I like this one much better! I adjusted the sizes of the presents and didn't use any stamps on the inside. I will, however, stamp a greeting on the inside... as soon as my order from the holiday catalog gets here:)

Cute Little Cards

These are just 3 by 3 aren't they fun?  The size would be great for a gift enclosure or even little thank yous. I've been having such fun making them and they go together quickly too because the coordinating punch and stamps make them interchangeable. Most of this group was done with one color family of inks and paper. I just stamped up a bunch of pieces and punched them out. Then it's just a matter of putting the pieces together.

I'm using mine for my business cards. I started out with the larger blue one which has a magnet on the back. Then my friend AnnMarie suggested the 3 by 3's and that's the style I'm going to stick with:) The next batch I make will be in pinks and purples. Oh! then Mambo Melon and Tangerine Tango, and there's Night of Navy and Daffodil Delight, ohhh and Baja Breeze and Early Espresso....
This is what I put on the inside:

Flower Power!

I've made several similar cards because they are going to be part of a set. I'm really having fun using this stamp set (Mixed  Bunch). I'm also still working with the Tea Shoppe stamp set.
