The roof on this Tea Shoppe lifts off  to reveal a hollow interior which will hold a mini album. As soon as I make it! I had so much fun making it that I cant stop to make the mini album yet. I just started the next building which is a Dress Shoppe. Both buildings are made of chip board, card stock and scrap book paper. In this case the paper is Graphic 45. The Botanical Tea collection.  The pattern is from Laura Denison at http://lauradenisondesigns.com

In progress here. The mansard roof was not difficult, but the window sure was!!

New Mini Album

I love thiz design!! It's called "The All Occasion Mini Album" and the directions came from Kathy Orta. The paper I used is from Hobby Lobby. One of the things I love about this design is that it allows full size 4 x 6 photos. No cropping!!

Is it REALLY a Camera?

Nope, it's a mini album! I got the directions from Laura Denison. I wanted to make something for my son. A regular mini album would simply not do. It had to be special and unique. He is a photography buff and this seems perfect for a guy.

A work in progress

There are photo mats inside the bellows.

Space for 4 photos in each of 8 mats for a total of 32 photos in the bellows portion.

The gears, key, etc are all Tim Holtz or Spare Parts from Hobby Lobby.

Constucted with cardstock and chip board.

The "glass" in the door is acetate with crackle medium applied to it.

Inside the back of the camera is a box for 7 photo mat folders that hold 4 each for a total of 28 photos.

The metal file tabs and film strip are Tim Holtz.

The map papers are from Hobby Lobby.

Stampin' Away!

Stamp Your Art Out Met today and we had such a good time:) Here are the projects we made. The first one was done by sponging then sprinkling kosher and rock salt on top followed by spritzing with water. After allowing to dry and removing the salt we were left this nice "water bubbles."
