Look at the two images below. They are Disinktive stamps and I want to call your attention to the level of detail in each of them. When I first got this stamp, my nice juicy Stampin' Up! ink pads produced the image on the right. The center lacks detail, you can't see the pistil in the center. To get the lovely detail of the pistil on the left, I simply spread the ink to the edge of the ink pad with an old bone folder. And you know what the coolest thing is??? That ink spreads back throughout the pad after a while! How cool is that. You could use the dull side of a plastic knife, but be very gentle so you don't tear the foam.
