Matchbox Treat Holder

This is a quick and easy treat holder to make! I adjusted the size to fit the Peppermint Patty. I assume it's the regular size, as I found it with the candy bars at the grocery store.

Pumpkin Pie cardstock cut 3" x 7 1/2." Then score at 3 1/4", 3 1/2", and 7." Next fold all the score lines, and staple the one that's 1/2 inch from the edge. The flap will now slide in there just as in a matchbox. I decorated mine with Halloween Night Designer Paper, and the Jar of Haunts stamp set and Everyday Jars Framelits.

Stamp Your Art Out!

Stamp Fellowship is such fun!! Some of us went out to lunch after and we had the yummiest Philly Cheese Steak Paninis. The Red Pepper is a nice restaurant in a former hardware store. The outdoor plant section is now outdoor seating and garden where live music can be found 3 nights a week.

Trio of Haunted Jars

I have finally learned how to use an Aqua Painter with SU inks!! Two things I changed: used Shimmery White cardstock instead of plain whisper white, and squeezed 2-3 drops of water from the Aqua Painter to the ink on the lid.

Haunted Jars

I don't normally do Halloween. I did when our son was growing up, but now, eh. I have never, ever liked scarey things, movies, costumes.. nope, not doin't it. When I was little, I would never dress up as anything scarey for Trick or Treating. Every year I was a princess or a fairy. It had to be pretty and nice, not ugly or scarey.

This stamp set screamed "buy me Carole!" So I did. I'll make treat holders for groups at church and cards for nieces and nephews.
