Sponging Dry Embossed Images.

The design for the first card is from a fellow Demo, Cindy Schuster. I just loved what she did with this embossing folder and had to recreate it! I became entranced with the whole idea of dry embossing and then adding color. So while playing around with different ways of applying color to these embossed flowers, I Stumbled upon a look that I really like, thus, the second card. The difference between the two is when you apply the color. Cindy sponged her cardstock first, then ran it though the Big Shot with the embossing folder. In the second card, I ran the cardstock through the embossing folder first, then used my sponge daubers to apply color.

New Product Suite

One of the things for which Stampin' Up! is best known is their color and product coordination. This product suite includes the Love and Affection stamp set, Affectionately Yours designer series paper, and Floral Affection embossing folders. Here, I've paired the designer series paper with the Botanical Builder Thinlit Dies. The colors in the patterned paper, match the ink and cardstock colors exactly. That coordination makes your projects look much more professional and sophisticated.
