New Brusho Technique

I've been playing with Brusho since the beginning of December and have a pile of pretty pieces. I wrote up directions to several techniques that along with an example, can be put into a technique binder. I showed pictures in this post.   I'll email one to you FREE with an order of $25 or more.  For my existing customers, these technique is  #43 Brusho Air.

This morning I began taking all the backgrounds and various pieces I've made and made them into cards. Below is one of my favorites. I used an air blower thingy to move colors across the paper. I got the tool from Amazon: Spritzer Tool.

I tried glossy and Shimmery White cardstock to see which would lend the most movement of colors while still being a thick enough paper to allow for water use.  The Shimmery White cardstock worked the best.

Wonder With Water

This simple design worked up nicely. The sequins in the bottom corner were not supposed to be there, but I smeared black ink in that spot and had to cover it up lol.

I get the watercolor look for the flower, I stamped in black Stazon, then used my Stampin' Spritzer to apply water. Then I inked up the stamp in Crushed Curry and rolled the edges of stamp into Watermelon Wonder. I then gave it a bit of extra shimmer with clear Wink of Stella. I tried several different color combinations of inks for the flower, but I liked this combo best because it popped.

These are a couple done in other colors that I don't care for.

Loving Collage Style Stamps!

Yeah, I'm still stuck on the Touches of Texture stamp set. It's a rainy day here in South Carolina, and we are expecting a dusting of snow in the morning. In the deep south, that means stay off the roads as we don't have snow removal equipment. I can't wait to see what Tesla does when she first sees snow. She was born in June, so this will be a first for her. Being a puppy everything new excites her! She has the most delightful disposition, we are so lucky to have her. She's the third Australian Shepherd we've had, and I have to say we're hooked for life. For us they are the perfect breed.

My card stash is severely depleated after giving sets away for Christmas and a huge basket full for the fundraiser at church. I'll be cranking out cards as quickly as I can to give y'all ideas for the Spring Catalog as well as the yearly catalog. I am in desparate need of sympathy, thank you and thinking of you, so expect to see several this month.

I should have gotten the Touches of Texture stamp set sooner!I LOVE it and it is sooo versatile, I find myself using it a lot. I also recently got Timeless Textures which is another collage style stamp. On the bottom of the card you'll see a bit of beautiful ribbon that I earn for FREE. It's a SALE-A-BRA-TION offering. You can choose one free item from the SALE-A-BRA-TION brochure for every $50.00 on your order. This metallic ribbon comes as a combo pack which includes ivory with silver metallic threads in it and ivory with gold.
