Christmas Blues

A lot, maybe most people listen to Christmas music when making Christmas Cards. Me? I'm listening to a playist consisting of Imagine Dragons, Bruno Mars, Train, Katy Perry. lol! I'm still making wreaths from the Beautiful Boughs dies. This time I use some coordinating DSP from the Toile Tidings package to frame it, and added some vellum behind. I like this much better as than the previous cards I made because it gives more definition to the wreath. Don't you just love the 'snow' made with Frost White Shimmer paint and a sponge?

Card Ministry

Card Ministry at St. John's met yesterday and we had such fun together as usual. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful group of ladies! I shared a sweet story with them from the wife of a retired Coast Guard officer. He received a birthday card fromt the church staff that was done with the Sailing Home stamp set. It was so appropriate and signed by the ministers and staff. He still has it proudly displayed on their mantle. I love hearing that our craft generates smiles!
