Card Ministry

Card Ministry met at church today. We made birthday cards for the seniors in our congregation. I have some retired cardstock colors and used them for these projects.

You've Got This

Some friends and I had a "Coloring Tea" a few days ago and it was such fun! We had afternoon tea, scones, fresh fruit and tea sandwiches. Then, we colored with Copic markers. Lots of fun girl talk and sharing ideas on how to color this lovely flower. Thanks Donna for being such a wonderful hostess:)

I also want to share this new ribbon. In the catalog it looks pretty, but in person, I discovered that you can pull apart the weave and shape it! Oh my goodness, is that cool or what? In the picture below, I pulled apart the top edge and left the bottom as it is on the roll. Can't you just see endless possibilities with this?

Happy Birthday Thinlit

I have two cards to share with you today, both using the Happy Birthday thinlit. I used the coordinating stamp set, Happy Birthday Gorgeous for the insides and envelopes. Using thinlits is such a breeze now that Stampin' Up! has the new adhesive sheets! And... don't even get me started on the gorgeous Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper. It's even prettier in person;)
