More Sleigh Rides!

Have you ever been on a sleigh ride? Despite the fact that my Daddy and both my grandpas trained Harness Horses, I've never been on a sleigh ride. When I was a little girl in Indiana, we lived on a one lane dirt road with no name. In the winter, when the snow was too deep on the track, Daddy would jog the horses on the road as soon as the snow plow came through. He had Grandpa's old jog cart that was closed in on the bottom, and came equiped with a thick wool blanket. I used to sit on  his lap and ride with him. While snuggled up under that blanket, and singing songs with Daddy, I'd pretend that the cart was a sleigh.

Santa's Sleigh

I simply ADORE this sleigh thinlit! The vellum I used here is retired, but I still have some left and it's so pretty:) The gold and white paper in the Pop of Pink designer paper package would be very pretty too.

Third Times's a Charm!

I loved this stamp set when I first saw it.  I started out by copying the example from the annual catalog, but I didn't have the same designer paper for the angel background. I used something similar, then an ink smear caused a cover up that I wasn't happy with, and the result was just eh. Not to be defeated, I made another version, which I liked better, but then I decided to try one last time. Sooooo the third card is the one I like! The gold embossing and rhinestones were just the right amount of sparkle.
Stamp set: Joyful Nativity
Cardstock and inks: whisper white, cherry cobbler, memento tuxedo black, very vanilla, Versamark

Paisley Power!

Here are some more sneak peeks from the Holiday Catalog. This first one is my design and I like it okay except, if I had it to do over again, I change the arrangement of the paisleys on the top portion a bit.
I didn't like this one at first, but then I took it apart, and embossed the Mint Macaron layer. No I kinda like it. This design was supposed to be my attempt at clean and simple! lol

This design came from Melanie Coverston. I'm not happy with my placement of paisleys and I should have used a different color for the cut out paisley.
This design is from Heather Heroldt.

Problem With Gluing Detailed Thinlits SOLVED

This is the best thing since sliced bread! No, a Qtip does not work nearly as well, nor does a toothpick. These eyelash glue applicators are the bomb I tell you! I love Stampin' Up!'s Multipurpose Liquid Glue, however, you really need a thin thin flow to adhere detailed thinlits. Here's your answer!

I got 100 for $4.96 and free shipping from Amazon
