Product Changes

New and Improved Stamp and Die Packaging

As part of our transition away from cling stamps, we’re excited to introduce updated packaging for stamps and dies! Because photopolymer stamps are thinner, we’re able to offer sleeker, slimmer packaging that saves space. Both stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easier than ever to store bundles and coordinating products together. The new packaging is similar to our current die packaging—durable, clear plastic envelopes—but with an exciting improvement: Die packaging will now feature printed artwork for quick and easy identification! Stamp packaging will continue to display artwork as well.

Stampin’ Write Markers
We have also decided to discontinue Stampin’ Write Markers. With the growing popularity of Stampin’ Blends, we’ve seen a steady decline in sales of Stampin’ Write Markers. One of the primary techniques unique to Stampin’ Write Markers is coloring directly on cling stamps—a technique that will become less relevant as we transition away from cling.

Although cling stamps are being phased out, great designs and stamping experiences will continue with photopolymer options.
I want to encourage those of you who love cling stamps or Stampin’ Write Markers to grab your favorites while supplies last.
The new packaging is a space-saving, organizing-friendly update that makes it easier to store stamps and dies together. New packaging measures 5-5/8" x 9"
Stamps and dies will now come in the same size and style of packaging, making it easy to store bundles and coordinating products together.
Packaging is clear with an insert that displays stamp or die artwork for quick and easy identification—yes, both stamp and die packaging will now show artwork!
Larger packaging dimensions allow us to showcase more stamp artwork at 100% on the insert. Sleek, slim design will help you store more in less space.
Envelope closure includes a tuck-in flap for quick and easy opening and closing. Packaging is sized to fit a variety of organization systems.
Die packaging will now include printed artwork for quick and easy identification, and stamp packaging will continue to show artwork as well.
All new stamps and dies starting with November Online Exclusives will come in the new packaging.
Photopolymer stamps released prior to November will transition to the new packaging with a rolling change. During this time, you may receive some stamps in old packaging and some in new. Transition will vary across markets based on inventory levels.

Q: Will you offer empty packaging so I can transfer my current photopolymer stamps and dies to the new packaging?

A: Yes. Empty Stamp & Die Organizers (167772) will be available in packs of 10 as part of the November 2025 Online Exclusives starting on November

Q: Will bundled stamps and dies come in the same package?

A: No. Bundled stamps and dies will come in separate packages, but their packages are the same size and style, making it easier for you to store them together.

Q: How will hybrid embossing folders be packaged?

A: Hybrid embossing folders will still include the embossing folder and coordinating die packaged together in a basic cello bag. No changes are being made to the embossing folder packaging. The die portion, however, will come in the new die packaging with printed artwork. In rare cases, due to the size or shape of certain dies, slightly larger packaging may be used.

Q: Will embossing folders come in new packaging?

A: No. Embossing folder packaging is not changing at this time.

Q: Will I still be able to order the Standard Stamp Cases (119105)?

A: Yes! We plan to continue offering this product and will evaluate its availability as part of our regular product lifecycle reviews.

Q: Can I use the new Stamp & Die Organizers (167772) to store other Stampin’ Up! products?

A: Absolutely! They’re a great space-saving solution for storing a variety of crafting essentials—embellishments, ephemera packs, and more!

Sunflower Color Explosion!

Notes & Tips:

Emboss on Two Tone paper
Emboss on patterned paper (Full of Life, Wildly Flowering, Country Lace, or Beautiful Bokah)
Use watercolor pencils, black journaling pen, or white gel pens to add amazing detail
Use watercolor pencils and Wink of Stella to add detail
"Faux" heat embossing with Everyday Elegance DSP
Emb. Folder size 6" x 8." You can place two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces of cardstock in the embossing folder at one time.
You may want to invest in some ink refills if you plan on making several of these.

Debossed Side: Embossed Season of El;egance DSP. Swipe with inkpads: Timid Tiger, Calypso, Coral.

These samples were all colored with Stampin' Blends and just a bit of swiping with an ink pad.

Embossed Side. Stampin' Blends: Petunia Pop, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sea Foam. White Gel Pen, Black Stampin’ Journaling Pen were used for accents. Whisper White, Peach Pie, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sea Foam cardstock. Unbounded Love Bundle.

Embossed Side on White cardstock. Stampin Blends: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green. Wink of Stella over all. Sponge dauber centers with Pecan Pie and Early Espresso.

Debossed Side: Color Lemon Lolly cardstock with Stampin' Blends: Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Bronze, Cajun Craze. Swipe Early Espresso inkpad over all.
