Creative Fold with Santa's Sleigh

I had such fun making this card. I used directions from Kristine Reynolds, and they can be found here:

I would remind you that Kristine indicates that measurements are approximate, and I would strongly suggest dry fitting before glueing anything down. I used the same measurements for the big squares as Kristine, however, I had to adjust the smaller panels a bit. I used these measurements:

Mat cardstock  2 panels 3 7/8" x 3 7/8" and 7 Panels 1 7/8" x 1 7/8"

More Sleigh Rides!

Have you ever been on a sleigh ride? Despite the fact that my Daddy and both my grandpas trained Harness Horses, I've never been on a sleigh ride. When I was a little girl in Indiana, we lived on a one lane dirt road with no name. In the winter, when the snow was too deep on the track, Daddy would jog the horses on the road as soon as the snow plow came through. He had Grandpa's old jog cart that was closed in on the bottom, and came equiped with a thick wool blanket. I used to sit on  his lap and ride with him. While snuggled up under that blanket, and singing songs with Daddy, I'd pretend that the cart was a sleigh.

Santa's Sleigh

I simply ADORE this sleigh thinlit! The vellum I used here is retired, but I still have some left and it's so pretty:) The gold and white paper in the Pop of Pink designer paper package would be very pretty too.
