Subtle Resist

I've done emboss resist for years, but this is new twist. It's called Subtle Resist and requires no embossing powder. In this example I used the Crackle stamp and Versamark ink. I used my Stamparatus, so that I could stamp twice and get a good thick application of the Versamark. After stamping, I heat set with my heat tool, making sure no shine from the ink was left on the paper. Then I used sponges and a sponge brayer to apply inks over top. It leaves a very suble crackle on the background. I layered the colors over one another where they touched to get a good blended effect.
