Three Fun Cards for this cold month. Well, actually it's not that cold here in the Carolinas. I have family in the Midwest and Colorado who are FREEZING!

Ink

Night of Navy, Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Blends Markers

  5. Punch daisy from Bermuda Bay or Melon Mambo cardstock

  6. Stamp bird in Tuxedo Black on Basic White cardstock, diecut and color

  9. Stamp the inside and envelope with any stamps you have that appeal to you.

Wrapped Bouquet

Pool Party, Basic White, Fine Art Floral DSP, Mossy Meadow, Vellum

Ink

Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Blends Markers, Old Olive

Tools

Wrapped Flowers Dies, Old World 3D embossing folder, Circle Dies

  1. Pool Party card base cut 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 score at 4-1/4

  2. DSP 4 x 5-1/2 layer on top of card base.

  3. Vellum cut with Circle die, then embossed with Old World EF.

  4. Mossy Meadow die cut leaves.

  5. Stamp bouquet in Olive Olive ink and color with Stampin' Blends, then diecut. I have colored this shade of green with yellow, red, purple and pink. They turned out very well!

  6. Stamp newsprint in Tuxedo Black and die cut. Look closely at the score lines the die provided (see photos below). The two long orange lines are folded towards you, and the two blue short lines are folded away from you. Fold both flaps towards the center to close the wrap, the larger flap on the left over top. Color pictures are on my blog.

  7. Insert bouquet into the newspaper wrap and glue. Glue green leaves from the back of the bouquet, then adhere to the Vellum circle.

  8. Turn the vellum circle to the back and apply adhesive ONLY where you see the bouquet from the other side. That way you see any adhesive on the front.

  9. Adhere bouquet/circle assembly to the card front. Add rhinestones and bow.

  10. Stamp the inside and envelope with any stamps you have that appeal to you.
