Magic Fox

I made another Magic Card. I was trying for masculine here, for my son. I used the stamp set, The Wilderness Awaits, some retired DSP, the Hello You Thinlits and colored the fox with Copic markers.

My First Magic Card!

I've been wanting to make a Magic Card ever since my friend Kathy showed them to me. There is a video tutorial on a previous post: http://scmagnolia.blogspot.com/2016/06/magic-card-tutorial_21.html
I made using the You've Got This stamp set. The paper is Affectionately Yours designer series paper. I love this card so much, I'm going to make another one, only a masculine version for my son.

Magic Card Tutorial

Below is a fantastic video showing how to make a fun magic card. I can't wait to make one!
Measurements & Quick review of instructions:

  1. Stamp and color card 3 ½” x 5”
  2. Cut window sheet the same size and place on top of colored card
  3. Stamp it with StazOn in the same images and placement you used in the original colored version
  4. Attach window sheet to card with a tag at the top
  5. Cut cardstock 12” x 5 ½” for card base
  6. Score at 3 ½” then score 4 ¼” beyond that
  7. Score 1/8 inch outside the previous scores
  8. Cut DSP 4 ¼” x 5 ½” then apply adhesive just around the edges and adhere to card base
  9. Cut a ½ inch frame all the way around using paper trimmer
  10. Cut hidden layer of cardstock 4 ¼” x 5 ½” then mount with dimensionals on three sides
  11. Mount hidden layer cardstock, then add an additional layer of dimensionals on top of hidden layer
  12. Put adhesive on one side to close up card
  13. Thread the stamped piece behind and the StazOn Window sheet piece in front
