Amazing You.... More FREE Products!

This card was made with a stamp set and Thinlts that you can earn FREE during SALE-A-BRATION. The eclipse technique is done with alphabet Thinlits, however some of us don't have those. You can do it with word die cuts. Some people use Stampin' Dimensionals on the back to pop up the image. That's a bit tedious for me, so I just die cut 3-4 'Celebrate' and glued them together.

Gluing is so easy with a sponge and some liquid glue. Just dab it on some scrap paper and sponge glue on the back. The top layer 'celebrate' was colored with inks and an Aqua Painter.

Lotus Blossom SALE-A-BRATION

This stamp set produces the most gorgeous flowers. Yes, I did a few cards with this color combination yesterday, but I looked in my card basket and realized that I'm low on sympathy cards. This color combination is so pretty and soothing to me. It felt perfect for a sympathy card. I seldom use a mask, but in order to get the flowers bent over in the way that I wanted there would be some overlapping. So I got out my trusty Post-it Notes, stamped the 3rd flower image and cut it out. There is a very helpful video for using this three step stamp that you can view below. As I said in a previous post, you can earn this FREE stamp set with a purchase of $50.00, and for every $50.00 you spend, you can earn another free product from the SALE-A-BRATION catalog.

Painted Petals

This is the prettiest stamp set isn't it? I'm having such fun making different looks with the coordinating papers and embossing folder. Again, I've used the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper. Since it's embossed, it acts as a resist when  you sponge a coordinating ink color on it. More details on this great paper that you can earn for free on a previous post.

Fun Free Paper

These two cards are highlighting a fun new product you can earn for free in the SALE-A-BRATION catalog from Stampin' Up!  It's called Irresistibly Yours, and comes in a package of 12 sheets: 2 each of 6 designs. This 12" x 12" white paper with a glossy white pattern is perfect for coloring using a variety of techniques. The coloring reveals the patterns! You can use sponge daubers, sponges, spritzing, a brayer, or Blendabilities alcohol ink markers for unique, easy-to-achieve effects. If you've been wanting to try out our new alcohol ink markers, now is the time because you can earn a blending trio of three markers for free too! For every $50.00  you spend, you can choose one free item from the SALE-A-BRATION catalog. Shop here or download your own PDF copy here.
One more thing I've got to share. I LOVE to stamp the inside of the my cards and the envelopes to match for a beautiful coordinated effect. After using Stampin' Up! envelopes just once I was totally hooked. They have a very smooth satin finish much like our Whisper White cardstock. The cheap envelopes I used to get from the big box stores, were very thin and porous. You could stamp on them sure, but the images were not nearly as clear and crisp as on these envelopes. You can order Stampin' Up! Envelopes - 40 for $6.50 ... that's only 16 cents a piece!! That's a good value for such a quality product.

Valentine and Spring, But Where oh Where are the Blue Skies and Sunshine?

You many NEVER hear me say things again, but I am officially sick of rainy, dreary days! I need sunshine and blue skies! I've tried everything I can think of to get it to stop raining: refrained from washing my car, over dress with all the warm clothing I own everywhere I go, and carry my umbrella with me constantly. Here in the deep south, we always need rain. In fact we've had several years of drought, but I just can't help it, I am sick to death of rain and gray skies. It reminds me of the years we lived in Michigan. No offense to anyone who lives there, but I found all that rain to be depressing. We moved there when I was a teenager, and I moved to South Carolina before I even finished college. I shouldn't complain, what about the poor peach farmers????

The first card uses a stamp set from SALE-A-BRATION. It's one of the things you can get for free, every $50 you spend.

AFTER I made the Valentines' Day card, it occurred to me I should have used the Heart Embosslits!!  I love how they cut and emboss all at once, and the little embosslit has different size hearts and patterns too:)
