Bee Sweet
This new type of embossing folder is the bomb! Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing folders make extra deep, super crisp impressions, like 3D on steroids lol. I could have easily stamped the bee and fussy cut it, but since I had the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, I decided to try that out on the stamped be.

Pink Hues
I guess I'm in a pink mood this week. I even caught myself drooling over pink weddings on Pinterest! lol I'm way past that stage of my life, I just really loved the soft pink hues that I saw in a bouquet and the dresses in ombre of pinks. Maybe tomorrow I'll try a different color palette.

Pretty Reason
I wish you could see the pretty shimmer that Wink of Stella adds to these flowers, it's such a subtle piece of pizzazz. To get the color on the leaves, I sponged Pear Pizzazz on card stock, then I inked the leaf vein stamp with Olive, stamped and cut with thinlit. For the flowers, I inked the stamp with Pink Pirouette, then I used Sponge Daubers to apply Rose Red in the center, then Melon Mambo, and Blushing Bride. I went back over the line between Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride to smudge it bit so I wouldn't have such a distinct line. I went over the whole petal with clear Wink of Stella.
