I Love Blue Greens!!

Some people call it teal. Stampin' Up! There's too it as Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock. I simply adore this color!!!!!!

The first card below has a card base of Lost Lagoon and flowers from the Textured Floral stamp set were stamped in Pool Party and Balmy Blue inks. The leaves and flower centers were stamped in Blackberry Bliss. The leaves were diecut from Soft Seafoam cardstock. The bottom of the card base was embossed with Twisted Rope Embossing Folder and highlighted with some gold Enamel Effects. There is one leaf that was stamped in Parakeet Party ink, and the white ribbon was colored with Parakeet Party ink. The leaf diecuts.... well, can you believe I did not order the coordinating dies for this set??? That was a big mistake let me tell you. One I will remedy with my next order. In my defense, I bought the set to use for stamping on some prayer cards I'm making for church. Then I fell in love with the set for card making too:) The diecuts cut out the stamped images of course, and they have the most beautiful foilage - even Eucalyptus which has such a marvelous shape. These foilage dies will pair well with my retired Forever Fern set!

The card below was stamped with So Very Merry stamp set from the Online Exclusives. The card base is Pretty Peacock and the image was colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol ink markers.

So Very Merry

For this pretty card I used the So Very Merry stamp set (Online Exclusives) with the following cardstocks and papers: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Distressed Gold, and Naturally Gilded (Online Exclusives).

I stamped the bird in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then colored it with Stampin Blends alcohol ink markers. Next I cut it out using Stylish Shapes Dies. Using Tailored Tags Dies, I cut a larg tag from Distressed Gold paper, and tied a ribbon with Red & Gold 3/8" Dotted Ribbon (Online Exclusives).

After layering and adhering pieces to the card front, I added the bow and some Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Fall feelings

Fall in the deep south is not like fall in the rest of the country. Our temperatures are a bit cooler, more like summers in the midwest. We are just glad to be out of the scorching summer temps! lol All our summer flowers are still blooming, but no leaf changes yet. With all that in mind these cards reflect fall in my mind. Everything from summer feeling, to fall, to Christmas!

Images from Earthen Textures stamp set and the retired set On The Horizons. Sun colored with Stampin' Blends and torn paper using Old Olive, Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Pumpkin Pie.

Gorgeously Made bundle, Fresh Freshia and Highland Heather Masterfully Made DSP.
Stamp set from the Online Exclusives, "So Very Merry." Colored with Stampin' Blends alcohol ink markers. Cardstock colors: Sweet Sorbet, Crum Cake, Pecan Pie, Basic White, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green. Timeworn Type embossing folder and Basic Borders Dies.

Circle Fold Card

This fold is so fun and it really is quite simple! I used the So Very Merry stamp set on both cards.

The Santa Card has Real Red and Basic White Cardstock and the image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black, colored with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Ink Markers. I used Stylish Shapes and Tailor Made Tags Die sets. The snowflakes are from a retired set called Swirling Snowflakes and the red layer is embossed with a retired embossing folder called Wintry. Embellished with Rhinestones Basic Jewels.

The Angel Card has Basic White, Silver Foil and Winter Meadow Designer Paper, and the image was stamped with Memento Tuexdo Black ink, colored with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Ink Markers. I used Stylish Shapes Dies and Blue Adhesive Backed Gems.

Simple Directions

For the card base you need one sheet of 8-1/2 x 11 cardstock. The diagram below shows that piece cut in half. One half is scored as usual at 4-1/4. The other half is scored twice. Place the circle die as shown on the diagram. For this card I used the second to the largest circle for the Stylish Shapes Dies.
