Corner Fold Tuck Card

I have a fun fold tutorial for you today. I used the Free As A Bird Stamp set and Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper to create this Corner Fold Tuck.

  1. Card base: Fresh Freesia 8 x 4-1/4 score @ 2-1/2

  2. Flowering Fields DSP 3 x 3 cut on paper trimmer from corner to corner. Use one triangle, glue to a triangle of cardstock; 3 x 3 cardstock (cut the same way), then adhere to top right of card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

  3. DSP 1 x 4 adhere to left front flap, then tie ribbon around flap and secure into a knot.

  4. Stamped front panel: 3 x 3 Basic White, secured on the left side to the front flap so that the top right corner fits under the triangle.

  5. Inside: 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 Basic White, line up with the stamped front panel and secure to the inside panel, behind the front stamped panel.

  6. If coloring the stamped front panel with Stampin' Blends, it will bleed through, so you can cover it with DSP.

Free As A Bird

Such a fun stamp set to play with and birds are so on trend right now! Who doesn't love our feathered friends?

The supplies are listed below reflect both of today's projects. The first card was done with embossing paste that I colored with Crumb Cake ink refill and the new Seaside Spray cardstock. The second card features the Bird Ballad Laser-cut Cards and Tin. This beautiful tin comes with 12 cards and matching envelopes to use in your card making. The tin measures approximately 7-1/2 x 5-1/2.

Fantistic Frames!

If you don't have the Stitched Rectangles Framelits, You must get them!! Designing gorgeous layouts with them is so simple and FUN! Even the negative pieces left over are crazy fun to use. I used them in the two examples below. The paper and stamp set are coming up in the new catalog on June 4. In the second sample below, I used Foam Adhesive Strips to pop it out. Well there were a couple gaps in my aplication of the strips, and my OCD made them stand out, even though you couldn't see them unless you held the card sideways. Anyway, I HAD to cover them up, so I cut out some leaves and flowers from the stamp set and glued onto the frame to cover up where the gaps were. Oh my goodness, I simple ADORE the look. Who says OCD is a bad thing?

close up to show the dimension on the Mossy Meadow frame.
