This card begins as a gate fold, then two flaps are added to the gates. I learned how to make it from fellow Demo, Mary Deatheridge. It goes together pretty quickly.
- You begin with an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Flirty Flamingo card base.
- With the long side across the top, score at 2-1/8" from each end. This will make the gate fold, 2-1/8" being half of the 4-1/4" width of a standard card.
- Cover the gates with Petal Pink cardstock measuring 2" x 5-3/8" then layer DSP on top of that measuring 1-7/8" x 5-1/4"
- For the two flaps that are attached to the 'gates' you cut 2 pieces of Flirty Flamingo cardstock measuring 4" x 2-3/8" and mount DSP on top of each that measures 3-7/8" x 2-1/4"
- Attach the top flap on the left side of the gate, and the bottom flap on the right side of the gate
- You can cover the inside panels with DSP as well. The center should be white, so that the sentiment and your signature can be easily read.
